Standpoint Futures is an innovative practice-based professional development residency programme for emerging / mid-career artists from regional UK. It is aimed at artists who are making a reputation in their region and have the potential and desire to work at a national and international level.
The Residencies Coordinator is responsible for the general organisation of the residencies, reporting to / in liaison with the Curatorial Director. The job description includes assistance with the management and development of the programme, assisting visiting artists, organizing visits / presentations, reports, publicity, and the administration of the programme.
Starting salary: £10 – £12.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Fixed term contract: The post is circa 18 hrs per week for 24 weeks, starting from February, plus a few days in advance of this to be involved in the selection process for artists and initial meetings, including Tuesday 25th November, as this is the interview day for the 2015 programme.
